The Science of CSoreX and How it Works

THE BAD NEWS

If you have the cold sore virus (Herpes Simplex Virus 1 or HSV-1) in your body, unfortunately, you’re stuck with it. Yes, that’s the bad news. Cold sores occur when HSV-1 activates in your body, usually triggered by a stressor, like certain foods, emotional/physical stress, fever, colds, allergies, menstruation, sunlight, sunburn, dehydration or local skin trauma—not exactly things you can avoid in life.
